Spray is a 21st-century synthpop duo from England, consisting of Jenny McLaren and Ricardo Autobahn. Following the demise of their previous band, the Cuban Boys (famous for their Hampster Dance record and John Peel sessions), McLaren and Autobahn released the album ''Living In Neon'' on Ninthwave Records in the USA. This was followed in 2003 by the extended single "I Am Gothic". A new album, ''Children of a Laser God'' was released online in 2006, along with the single " Run With Us", a cover of the theme tune of the popular 1980's cartoon '' The Raccoons'' with the " Michael Trenfield" remix as the main single accompanied with the original version and remixes from JKZ, Absorb, FMU and Diskowarp.
In differential geometry, a spray is a vector field ''H'' on the tangent bundle ''TM'' that encodes a quasilinear second order system of ordinary differential equations on the base manifold ''M''. Usually a spray is required to be homogeneous in the sense that its integral curves ''t''→ΦHt(ξ)∈''TM'' obey the rule ΦHt(λξ)=ΦHλt(ξ) in positive reparameterizations. If this requirement is dropped, ''H'' is called a semispray.
The ''Spray'' was a 36 ft 9 in m oyster sloop rebuilt by Joshua Slocum and used by him to sail single-handed around the world, the first voyage of its kind. The ''Spray'' was lost with Captain Slocum aboard sometime on or after November 14, 1909, after sailing from Vineyard Haven, Massachusetts, bound for South America.

A spray is a dynamic collection of drops dispersed in a gas. The process of forming a spray is known as atomization. A spray nozzle is the device used to generate a spray. The two main uses of sprays are to distribute material over a cross-section and to generate liquid surface area. There are thousands of applications in which sprays allow material to be used most efficiently. The spray characteristics required must be understood in order to select the most appropriate technology, optimal device and size.
A solar flare is a sudden brightening observed over the Sun's surface or the solar limb, which is interpreted as a large energy release of up to 6 × 1025 joules of energy (about a sixth of the total energy output of the Sun each second or 160,000,000,000 megatons of TNT equivalent, over 25,000 times more energy than released from the impact of Comet Shoemaker–Levy 9 with Jupiter). They are often, but not always, followed by a colossal coronal mass ejection also known as a CME. The flare ejects clouds of electrons, ions, and atoms through the corona of the sun into space. These clouds typically reach Earth a day or two after the event. The term is also used to refer to similar phenomena in other stars, where the term stellar flare applies. |
